There is a Beast within us all, every last one… She likes to dwell just under the surface of the flesh and in the very centre of the soul.
She's the one that tell you to kiss to boy when you're intoxicated, climb the tree in your best clothes and slam the door in the face of your little brother. She laughs at your tears and drinks the blood from your paper cuts with relish…
Usually she is the darkness in your heart, but sometimes when the moon is high, you’re the light in hers.

More work from Ny Merriu, this is Agate who crops up quite a bit in my work because she's just a fun and thoroughly horrible character. She's a werewolf and necromancer who has trouble with coming to terms with her ancient heritage so she bottles it so until it just explodes... like this.
This caused great amusement in my Dipolma class who are still getting their heads around my work, I just nod at them, smile and say I like drawing odd things and pretend that I'm some sort of freak, though they are far more excepting than any of my other art groups.
Never the less, I quite like it and I'm thinking of having it made into a hoody design.
